Takes practice, needs sharpening August 18, 2010

Sturdy, but doesn't come sharpened. So get yourself a file and file away. I bought this to cut some unruly decorative grass in the garden, but it took some getting use to. Eventually I just took out the shears and finished the job, because the blade really needed to be much sharper and I didn't have a good file. Useful addition to a gardener's set of tools, though, and I anticipate using it in the future when it's sharper.
