| Customer Reviews: Very handy August 28, 2010 mecHraul These pliers are very nise. It is one of the most popular tools in my bag. The only thing i notice that is a minor problem is push button sticks out a bit to much. The button gets in the way when removing broken studs. lucky i have its brother set the alligators also. I'm sure you will like them. Beats carrying a pipe wrench.
These are the best pliers you can get. July 19, 2010 E. Green (Detroit, MI) I have been using these around 20 years and I still use the first pair I ever bought (7 inch model) daily. They lock in place so they are great for repetitive work (electrical box connectors for example) and adjust easily one handed once you get the knack.
The ONLY issue I have had is the unlocking button can screw off. Put some RED Loctite the threads and you're set.
I have never been able to break one while I have had a Channel-Lok break a jaw just by squeezing the handles.
You just can't go wrong with these.
Best Pliers Made March 31, 2010 Richard S. Etheredge (Sunny South, Alabama) I have been a heavy equipment mechanic for thirty four years and these are the only brand of slip joint pliers I will use. No finger pinchers for me. Richard Etheredge

I own this set and other Knipex tools. They are the best. I use these to tighten pipes and finish with my pipe wrench. Useing these I don't have to do a half a turn before it is completely tight. I also engravr my tools and these are the hardest metal that I have tried to engrave. Great tool you won't be disappionted.
Best "channel lock" pliers ever November 3, 2009 John William Gilbert I'm constantly chasing these down at work because everyone borrows them. Nothing else comes close. A little pricey, but well worth the money. Do yourself a favor and but them, you won't regret it!
