| Customer Reviews: Strong, but cheap August 11, 2010 Richard A. Scott (Austin, TX United States) These things are amazingly strong, but I'm having a huge issue with them chipping if they just accidentally crash into each other. I use these as cube toys, and I previously had been using cubes that were slightly weaker. I ordered these, thinking I'd have a bit more fun with more, slightly larger ones. However, when I pass them by each other to pick them up, I'm liable to get a chip on one or to even have one snap in half. I've had them for about 20 minutes, and already I have 6 out of the 30 that are chipped or broken in half.
So, not recommended as a cube diversion. However, they are ridiculously strong.
Unbelievably strong. July 19, 2010 Jason Armstrong (RI, USA) These little magnets are unbelievably strong. Just one of these tiny guys will hold up to ten pieces of paper on your refrigerator. They are a must for parents of artsy children.
Great magnets April 27, 2010 Jack Cheng (West Roxbury, MA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I waffle all the time on my purchases and it took me a while to choose the size versus quantity of these magnets. But I think I made the right choice.
These are difficult to handle, but they also work really well. Someone else on Amazon suggested gluing these magnets to the end of push pins (after heating and removing the pins). That works great and makes them easier to handle.
Lots of great magnets March 13, 2010 The Dragon (CO USA) Our office has new furniture which is mostly steel w/o the push pin backing, so needed some magnets to hold up items. These work great. These are great for more permanent items that you keep up like pics, etc. to be less obtrusive. Also got the next size up (14 count) for heavier/thicker/more items. Also, larger ones are a bit easier to get a hold of when taking down/putting up than these small ones.
Strongest magnets in the world! February 28, 2010 Laura Kidd (Atlanta, GA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These magnets are fantastic; they must be the kind used in commercials where a car is suspended in mid-air. I got them to demonstrate the smallest engine using a battery, a screw and a piece of electrical wire, where the battery is attached to the flat head of a screw or nail; then the point of the screw is attached to the negative end of a battery; then a piece of electrical wire is held to the top (positive) end of the battery and when the other end of the wire touches the screw, it spins. Other magnets I've tried were not strong enough, but these are amazing. They're also well packaged.
