| Customer Reviews: Works Great July 29, 2010 Duffer. (Conyers, GA United States) This is a fine nailer that is easy to operate and makes nailing a pleasure. Well, almost a pleasure. The tool comes in a handy storage case. Enclosed with the nailer is the user manual, a packet of nails and a small jar of lubricant. The price is right and so is the tool.
Nice pin nailer May 1, 2010 Togle 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a nice nailer. It came as advertised and worked very well out of the box.
Solid Performer December 24, 2009 Greg B 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've owned this pin nailer for about 5 years & found it to be a very good value for the money. It's performed almost flawlessly & has held up well. There have been no repairs required, even though it's been used in a commercial setting & not always treated kindly.
The tool is slightly larger than other guns that shoot pins in the 1 1/4" range, but is not unwieldy. The dual trigger safety takes a little getting used to initially, but becomes second nature once you've used it a bit. I've found the power adjustment lever to be unnecessary & always leave it set to the maximum position.
If I could improve one thing on the tool, I'd make it oil-less like the other finish guns in the Bostitch lineup. Other than that, I feel it's one of the top 23g tools in this price range.
Safety Concerns December 18, 2009 S. Bloetner (Berwyn Heights, MD) 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
The Bostitch Pin Nailer is doing its basic function fine. I can only give it a 2 star because it has in my opinion a major design flaw. It is very easy to press both handles simultaneously to initiate the nailing. This makes it very easy to have the nail come out accidentally insuring somebody. I have never seen a nail gun in which it so easy to make a mistake in this way.
Excellent pinner December 3, 2009 Trans4ma (nyc usa) Bought this because the price was way lower than most pinners. I wanted to get a Grex, but at over $200+ for one I couldn't justify spending the money. I also like Bostitchs 7 year warranty on their air nailers. I've used this on kitchen cabinets and also on a wood floor install (3/8" flooring - first and last rows). Sank into maple and oak up to 3/4" thick with no problems.
